The formation of a personal pedagogy and the informing of an art-making practice.

Through field experience, the basis for more complex teaching philosophies and pedagogy can be formed.

In more than just the study, but rather the actual practicing of different teaching styles used across diverse settings, a successful teacher is born.

I've had the experience of creating and implementing standards-based lesson plans and curricula, with primary and secondary level students.

My history in working with students with exceptionalities also allows me experience of differentiating my instruction based on student need.

Often taking an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, I pull from my knowledge of the sociological and historical foundations of art education across schools and regions, along with my knowledge of various disciplines, such as the social sciences, humanities, and engineering technologies.
